What is BIOmega-3 Kids Fish Oil?
BIOmega-3 Kids is a fish oil preparation tailored to the nutritional requirements of children.
Fish oils are the main dietary source of omega 3 essential fatty acids which contribute toward many biological functions in the human body. Omega 3 fatty acids are rich in the beneficial Eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and Docosahexanoic acid (DHA).

The habitat in which the fish grow has a major influence on the amount of fatty acids they contain. Fish eat plankton, which contain omega 3.
The colder the sea, the higher the concentration of omega 3 the plankton will contain, so oily cold water fish such as salmon, tuna and mackerel have the highest levels of omega 3, and farmed fish contain lower levels.
Pharma Nords Omega 3 supplements for children are derived only from deep ocean fish, they are carefully screened to ensure that it is free of possible pollutants. It is an economical fish oil preparation for daily consumption.
What does BIOmega-3 Kids Fish Oil do?
EPA (Eicopentaenoic acid) is important for maintaining healthy brain function. DHA (Docosahexaenoic acid) is an important building block of all nerves, cells and eye membranes.
Fish oil may help with normal brain development in growing children - 60% of the brain is made of fats, 30% of which are essential fats. Fish oil may help to maintain a healthy immune system, respiratory system, joints and digestive system.
BIOmega-3 Kids Fish Oil Consumption
Capsules are not recommended to chew, however you can pierce the capsules and add the contents to a yoghurt or other food source for the child to eat.
As they have a lemon flavour when they are added to foods, they will taste pleasant. No fishy taste to be found here!
